Argiro Mavraki
Editor-in-Chief
I’m the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Mothlight Literary. I’m in my last year of pursuing my Bachelor in English Literature and I’m also an editor for the ASFA Between Arts & Science journal. Mothlight is my way of expressing my love for literature & writing but also giving back to the Concordia community by providing a platform where unique and powerful voices can be heard!
Grace Peressini
Mananging Editor
I’m currently in my third year studying English, law and society, and religion. My favourite place to start a new book is while camping. I’m drawn to any immersive fiction or slice of life reads.

Coralie
(Angelyne) Foti
Content Editor
Helping other writers perfect their craft is a true hobby of mine, but in reality, I too strive to be published. As a Creative Writing student, I am no stranger to the writing and editing process. Currently I am working on a fantasy, dark academia novel! Poetry is also a form I feel at home writing with, though I began strictly interested in larger works of fiction, my horizons have grown, and so has my experience.

Julian Button-Nadon
Content Editor
I’m an aspiring author and editor for Mothlight Literary magazine. I tend towards Lovecraftian and dystopian fiction. I was the winner of the Quebec Writers’ Federation’s 2021 College Writers Award. Currently enrolled in the undergraduate Creative Writing Program at Concordia.

Ikram Marzougui
Content Editor
Over the past four years, I have been deeply immersed in the rich layers of the literary world, and now I am honored to contribute to Mothlight’s first volume. As an editor, I aspire to help those who have long dreamed of unfolding their wings to soar toward a place where they're truly heard.
Carla Decroix
Content Editor
Hey there! I’m Carla, a French student at McGill University in my final year of poli sci, with a minor in English lit. I love reading (obviously!), doesn’t matter what genre, as long as there are words on a page, I’ll read it! I’m also extremely fond of my cat, my dad’s vinyl collection, and finding the best tiramisu in Montreal. I’m excited to be part of Mothlight Literary Magazine’s journey as a content editor. As someone who also loves writing, I’m very eager to be able to give others feedback and to help new emerging authors get their words published on a page.

Astrid Nannini
Social Media Manager
Hello! l am thrilled to be Mothlight Literary’s Social Media Manager. I am in my second year of Creative Writing at Concordia, but I am enamoured with all forms of art. Some descriptions people may give me include: a desperate writer, a lover of performance, a chronic procrastinator, an aspiring legend - all claims of equal value.
More than anything, I feel the inescapable need to create. Whether it be writing, acting, composing music, painting, or anything else (except, perhaps, dance - I fear I have two left feet), I feel that my purpose is to make art. I adore meeting new people, so please feel free to reach out with questions, comments, judgement, praise, or your deepest fears and best-kept secrets. I’m so excited to hear from all of you and get this magazine started!
Ana Elisa Sousa
Graphic Designer
I’m a content designer and writer in my first year of the MA in Creative Writing program at Concordia. My work explores the intersection of storytelling, visual design, and human emotion. With a background spanning psychology, neuroscience, and digital media, I’m passionate about crafting experiences that make ideas—whether literary or scientific—resonate through form and feeling.
At Mothlight, I’m excited to help shape a visual language that reflects the magazine’s spirit of connection, transformation, and wonder.

Keyria Song
Assistant/Contributor
Hey there! I am a second-year undergraduate student majoring in English Literature at Concordia University, and as my department would have it, most of my screen time is spent on my Kindle app (hot take: I prefer e-books to physical ones). Find me at any café on the island with a crisp iced chai latte and my iPad! I am usually either daydreaming about the novelties of my readings, or of retirement.
I am happy to assist in anything budgeting, organizing, and internal/external machinations to get the Mothlight Literary Magazine running smoothly with my fellow members. I urge you to look forward to our first issue. Cheers!
