Mothlight Literary
Magazine

Founded in 2025, our magazine emerged from the vibrant creative community at Concordia University, uniting voices across disciplines to celebrate innovation in the literary and performing arts. Born from the collaborative spirit of Concordia’s English, Creative Writing, Fine Arts, and Theatre departments, we believe that storytelling—whether on the page, the stage, or the canvas—thrives at the intersections.

We are a student-run publication, led by both graduate and undergraduate students, dedicated to fostering creative expression and providing hands-on experience in the world of publishing. Our editorial team curates work that challenges, experiments, and resonates—pieces that expand what creative practice can be within and beyond the university setting.

Our Mission:

To offer a platform where emerging writers and artists can experiment, collaborate, and grow—while gaining tangible experience in editing, design, and curation.

By bridging departments and disciplines, we aim to cultivate a space that reflects the dynamic, interdisciplinary energy of Concordia itself.
